I received a voicemail one late Friday afternoon.  It was a fairly new patient of mine who had started wearing hearing aids about 6 months prior.  He said, “Callie this is /name/ and I’m sitting here in one of New Mexico’s beautiful State Parks and I’m listening to the birds. And i just wanted to say Thank You.”
