Favorite patient story/situation?

I remember during the first year I worked here… this 90-year-old patient came into the office very grumpy and with a frown on her face. She didn’t want to be here and had never worn hearing aids before. I remember the day she was fit with hearing aids, she was coming out of the provider’s office, she had one of the biggest smiles on her face — she truly looked like she was glowing and like a completely different person. From that moment I knew this is where I was supposed to be.

Favorite food?

I’m addicted to green chile, I like to put it on anything from pizza and pasta to traditional New Mexican dishes.

Favorite movie?

I don’t know if I have a favorite, but I love reading books that are movies and then watching the movie.

Favorite book?

My favorite genre to read right now is thrillers. Favorite recent reads are Gone Girl and Dying to Remember.
