Years you have worked at WHC: I’m new!
Where did you grow up? I graduated from high school in Angel Fire, New Mexico, and split my time between the DFW area in Texas and New Mexico.
Outside hobbies and interests? I love to curl up with my two dogs and read a good book. I enjoy skiing fresh powder on a snowy day and kayaking.
What motivates you to come to work every day at WHC: One of the things that I love about working at WHC is the ability to build relationships with patients, as well as the chance to improve someone’s quality of life. It is amazing to hear stories of patients hearing the birds for the first time in years!
Favorite patient story/situation: I had a patient who was struggling to put in their hearing aids and spent a fair amount of time practicing with this patient one-on-one. The patient surprised me at the next follow-up appointment by taking them and putting them in with no difficulty. It was a very exciting moment for the both of us!
Favorite Book: There are far too many to just pick one!
