Megan Walsh, HIS

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Years you have worked at WHC: Since May 2021
Where did you grow up? El Paso, Texas
Outside hobbies and interests? Family life, is very important factor in my life.  I also like to think of myself as a reality TV connoisseur.
What motivates you to come to work every day at WHC: I love making a difference and establishing connections with my patients. When I hear stories of how better hearing has impacted a person’s life, it causes a spark of joy in my heart. Besides helping others, I’m really proud to work for Worth Hearing Center because we have such an incredible team that really sees eye-to-eye on patient care.
Favorite patient story/situation: My favorite experience was fitting a new device on a patient, and he was in awe with all the new sounds he forgot items made. He was particularly fascinated with the sound his snap buttons made on his coat, which made him giddy with delight. His joy was so contagious, it had me grinning from ear-to-ear (no pun intended).
Favorite Food: Mexican food
Favorite Movie: Grumpy Old Men
Favorite Book: A Confederacy of Dunces
